Greenhouse Gala Drawer Box & Cards

I have just about recovered from the our 2nd all day Craft Event, “Stamporama” which was held in New Addington on 2nd October. We had an amazing day with some fabulous people who enjoyed themselves. They had such a great time, that they are already asking when the next event will be! We presented 5 projects in total, above are some photos of my project. I used the new Ornate Flowers stamp set with Greenhouse Gala Designer Series Paper.

We are planning to have our next Stamporama in April which will be held in East Dulwich. If you would like to be kept informed, please email me

Wedding Table Numbers

One of my work colleagues, Wassila, is getting married next Friday. Like most brides, she is working within a budget. After trawling the internet for table stands and realising that she could not afford the ones she really wanted, she finally asked me on Monday to help. “Of course I can do it”, I said! Panic! That gave me only 5 days to do them as she was flying on Sunday and I had to give them to her yesterday! Finally here’s what I came up with. They are numbered with the table names in French. She was really pleased! As I did not have my camera with me, these were taken with my mobile phone.

Stamporama

I have had a very busy week, but here is my project, which I presented to the attendees at the Dazzling Diamonds Team, Stamporama last saturday 19th June. I used the I {Heary} Hearts, Baroque Motifs, and Elegant Thank You Stamps with Lavender Lace and Old Olive Cardstock. We had 5 projects in all, and everyone had a great time. They all wanted to know when the next one would be!  Shaz is hoping to hold it sometime in October.
This was my first time presenting a craft project to seasoned crafters, but I totally enjoyed it.

Masculine Card

Last friday it was the birthday of one of my bosses at work. We decided that we would all pay for a day out for him and his wife to Leeds Castle, Canterbury, Dover and Greenwich. As we did not know what date to book it for I created this card to show the day out details, so that he could tell us his preferred date. This is what I created.

OSW & Baby Wipes Technique

This is the project I did last night at Shaz's. We made the background paper with the Medallion Stamp using the Baby Wipes Technique. From 1 sheet of cardstock we created enough background paper to decorate 10 cards and a holder!(One Sheet Wonder)

Here are some of the cards. I must say I was very impressed by this technique!

Training Day in Reading

I had a wonderful day on Saturday at the Stampin' Up! Training day in Reading after travelling up with 3 other SU Demonstrators. We then stayed behind to give a hand at the SU Experience which was put on for current and potential Hostesses. It was lovely meeting the other demos, and here is the swaps that I did for the day (above) and the one I entered on the display table.

Olympia Stitch & Craft Show

I have just come back from the Stitch & Craft Show at Olympia, Kensington, where we had a stand for the 4 days. I was there on Friday helping my upline. It was a  very good day and I met many interesting fellow crafters and non-crafters who we persuaded to try the free Make and Take!
